The chef, Marco Cannizzaro

After the hotel school, he began an internship at the San Domenico in Imola, 2 Michelin stars and later joined the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz, 5 star superior. Driven by an innate curiosity and passion, he decides to tour Italy and Europe, enriching his experience by studying and trying to understand the methods and cuisine of the territories.

Passionate, curious, “never satiated”, Marco is an instinctive, creative young chef who loves his city and territory. After years of multicultural experiences, he returned to Catania to serve as chef for two years in a restaurant in the Etna capital.

In 2014 he took the big step – together with his brother Fabio, two years younger – with the opening of the km.0 restaurant, today a reference point for quality catering in Catania.
